Quite a rookie year.
The Jets' other stellar running back, Thomas Jones, wasn't quite good enough for the Bears for some reason. Nor was Cedric Benson, who has become one of the league's leading rushers with the Bengals. In fact the league is full of guys discarded by the Bears and starting for other teams. You almost start thinking there is some organizational dysfunction ;-( Like maybe they're not so good at evaluating talent or coaching.

>>Well, I'm 2-2...should have had the stones to pick Dallas, which would have made me 3-1.

>>Saints over Cards
>>Indy over Baltimore
>>Minnesota over Dallas (I'm not gonna fall for the "i didn't pick them and should have, and then when I did, I lost" bit)
>>Chargers over Jets (though if there could be 1 upset, it would be here)

>>Not too bad, 3-1 this weekend....I really wanted to pick the Jets.

>>Vikings and Colts next weekend. This Jet story is great (and I'll be rooting for them), but all Cinderella stories come to an end.

>>And of course, another San Diego choke job

>>- Lost to the Jets in 2005 at home

>>- Lost to New England in 2007 at home, following a first-round bye (if memory serves me, that was the year Marty-ball went 14-2, but the Chargers had several personal fouls in the game

>>- Lost tonight....and what a surprise, another "one and done" following a first-round bye, with more bone-head mistakes and questionable coaching.
