There was a minor trade leading up to the election in classic "buy the rumor sell the news" fashion and it played out perfectly. Do not make the mistake of reading too much into this market based on a single event, no matter how relevant politically. Political events may make for tradeable events but that is all. The market is currently being held up by a great deal of faith. That faith is not being rewarded by facts and the trendlines are staring to reflect that change in attitude.

The fundamentals will always rule, and that's coming from a chart guy. ;)
