Probably something at my expense. Oddly enough, I don't object if that was the case. I brought it on myself.

More encouragingly, things continue to go very well in that department. I have had only a couple of minor slips since mid-fall. Neither of them led to the week long binges I used to so eagerly embrace. (Flash of Roy Scheider kissing Jessica Lange in "All That Jazz"). Working again has been a big part of it. Retirement accounts were drained to pay our bills and my bank balance still sank to the worrying point. I was worried sick about bankruptcy and losing our house. I do not EVER want to go through that again.
