Friday night's star-studded "Hope for Haiti" telethon has raised a record-breaking $58 million, with more donations continuing to pour in from around the world, the benefit's organizers announced Saturday.

They probably could have raised even more money. During the telethon I tried to call about 30 times and the line was busy. The web site of the telethon didn't have an address where to send donations but only posting for CC. The telethon concert was very boring (as far as I am concerned). Too depressing. I doubt too many people will buy the DVD of the concert which was supposed to be the next way of raising money.
