I understand that in some college football (at least in the Ivies, don't know where else), an OT consists of each team getting the ball on the 20 and having one possession to score. If someone is ahead after that, the game ends. If not, they do it again. Sounds a lot more fair. I would either like to see college rules for OT (but NOT starting so close to the opponent's goal line)....or a rule that you can only end OT with a TD.
The league needs to look at this, plus the absolutely pathetic pass interference call that put the Saints in FG range. This was a great game that ended in somewhat of shame.
