I think its not a good idea. for a start 3g internet is not universal by a long way. I get it on one side of my house but not the other. There's a road I park in sometimes and I get it at the top of the road and not at the bottom. So your browsing experience will be compromised escpecially downloading larger images to fill the bigger screen..

Also I noticed yesterday that when demoing it Steve Jobs had his legs crossed and propped it up on one leg so the screen was oriented towards him. Try doing that on a commuter train or plane. Its too big.
If you want to type on it how do you do it. You can't lie it flat the screen would be hard to see. To be mobile you need something that fits in one hand.

I personally don't think they've thought this one through
