I need to create a chart on part of the web page. The values to be displayed will be based upon three controls: A DropDownComboBox with Date values, a CheckBoxList, and a RadioButtonList

I added a CrystalReportViewer to the page. I think I need to associate it with a specific report. Correct????????

I went to "Add New Item" and selected Crystal Report. The dialog box shows three options under "Choose an Expert." (Standard / Cross-Tab / Mail Label). The diagram for "Standard" shows a Bar Chart type and a standard report type.

Selecting "As a Blank Report" dims the Experts. But that's what I chose at this point

A report design screen appears. I right-click and look at Insert. The chart option is greyed out.

Am I right up to this point in how to create the graph?

What do I need to do to get the Chart option active?
