I few weeks ago I wiped my laptop & reinstalled Windows XP Pro. Prior to this, I had SQL 2005 on my laptop.

Today I'm trying to reinstall SQL 2005 and in the System Configuration Check I see the warning:

Some components of this edition of SQL Server are not supported on this operating system. 
For details, see 'Hardware and Software Requirements for Installing SQL Server 2005' in Microsoft 
SQL Server Books Online.

If I continue the installation, the SQL Server Data Services checkbox and other options are all disabled.

I don't understand why this isn't working. I had it installed before, so how can it not be supported now??

Help!!
