Thank you, Bonnie. I already feel guilty enough to trouble you with my newbie questions. So let me see if I can figure out why some things work and other don't. And if I am completely against the wall, I will take you up on your kind offer.

Let me ask you a question though. If I implement the DataBind method for the check box using BindingSource parameter (as you kindly wrote in the other message), do I still need to create a separate DataBind method for my TextBox subclass? Note that the text boxes are bound to the BindingSource already; the only difference is that I use call DataBinding.Add() for the text boxes.
