Try to close the printer (set print to) after printing - 30 seconds seems like it's waiting for an end-of-job signal, and assumes one after a timeout. Word and Excel print distinct jobs and they automatically send a signal when done; VFP doesn't assume you're done until you tell it.

Closing the printer when you're done should send that signal right away. Don't forget to open the printer (set printer to YourPrinterName) before next printing.
