BTW, do you use L2SQL? If so, I assume you're aware of all this: http://www.thinqlinq.com/Post.aspx/Title/LINQ-to-SQL-enhancements-for-2010

The title of that link is misleading (as I'm sure you realized) - since L2S isn't receiving much love in 2010 Some fixes, but not much love. The lack of support for the new data types is rather significant.
