>>>Hi,
>>>
>>>I have downloaded some code of MultiColumn combo box. This combo is in the .CS file. I am trying to see/test it how it would work. I created a solution with a blank form and this .cs file (where multicolumn combo box is defined). But I can't seem to be able to "drop" this class on the form. Do I have to add it to the Toolbox first? I was hoping that I can do it without messing up my VS 2005 Toolbox.

>>>TIA.

It's no big deal :-}
You can add your own expander tab in the Toolbox (right click / Add Tab) and keep odds and ends in there.
Also not difficult to remove anything should you wish to do so.....
