The one you received was a reset because of the password recovery reseted. The one that was in the table before the password recovery was the one you had before. But, because the automatic uppercase was done before at the login prompt, you probably had the perception that it was as is in the table. Now, that you have changed it back to your own casing reference, entering it like that should always work.
