I think that a few conferences (maybe the Big East) only invite the top X teams based on regular season conference record.
Someone made a good point last night...with the ACC and Pac-10 both having "off-years" this year, the # of at-large bids for the small and mid-majors (A-10, Colonial, WCC, MVC, etc) will go up.
It is so hard to believe that 3 powers from last year (Louisville, UConn,and UNC) will need to fight very hard in the next 40 days just to get their ticket punched.
My final 4 picks right now are KU, Syracuse, maybe Villanova, and Texas....with either Gonzaga, WVU, or BYU as the suprise team.
