Usually, it's checked in AfterRowColumnChange event:
***Grid.BeforeRowColumnChange
Thisform.Gridrecno=recno("curGridsource")
***Grid.AfterRowColumnChange
IF Thisform.Gridrecno<>recno("curGridsource")
*** this is new row
