The reaction from where? It's too soon for any substantive numbers to be in.

The reaction was in the last few weeks - WMC (acting on behalf of NOW) put a great deal of pressure on CBS to pull the ad.

Why? For pressuring CBS not to break precedent and air the first advocacy ad on the Super Bowl? For defending their beliefs when they weren't offered equal time?

CBS is a privately held company. There is no expectation of "equal time" on private property. CBS is free to air what it chooses (and it's WMC's right to protest....I just think WMC showed incredible hypocrisy.)

The only one looking to "censor" a viewpoint was WMC, an organization that doesn't truly understand the concept of "pro-choice". Tim Tebow's mother made the very choice that WMC is supposed to be celebrating. The test of an organization's true committment to "pro-choice" is their support for different people voicing the "choices" they faced. WMC failed miserably here.

(And by the way, yes, I am very much to the right...and I am also pro-choice)..

Apparently, most found the commercial to be rather weak - I actually thought it was quite nice.

This "choice" thing works two ways - think about the country of China and what is sometimes forced on women.
