Hi Steve,

EXCLUSIVE has to be set to "OFF" when you open the database to create the remote view. Beware that closing the database, then setting exclusive off, then re-opening the database and creating the remote view will give you the same error - a real pain in the ass. In that case, close-out VFP, open VFP, SET EXCLUSIVE OFF, open the database and you will be able to create the view.
