I think any organization which finds an ad to be offensive has the right to lobby CBS to pull that ad. They have the right to boycott, and advocate others also boycott, any network which airs shows they find offensive.
It doesn't matter to me if it's this particular ad or one for Planned Parenthood.
It doesn't matter to me if you're boycotting 7-11 for selling "smutty" magazines or boycotting them for selling "Mercenaries for Hire"
It doesn't matter to me if it's boycotting stores selling non-union lettuce, or boycotting companies whose products are not "Made-In-America"
To me, it's a matter of using economic leverage to advance a particular point of view. And THAT has been an American activity since before there was a U.S.A.
