When I load a set of 1.44 disks that I created with the setup wizard, the 2.5 Mb .EXE becomes 3.7 Mb and yeilds the error "not an object file" at runtime. I create the disk set as a NetSetup folder as well so I can distribute on CD. In this case (same build) the .EXE is fine and runs successfully.
So, what's the difference. It must be in the compression or disk spanning algorithm used in the setup wizard. I have done this with my same VFP setup on numerous other occassions with no problem.
I also removed the "Distrib" directory under \VFP and let the wizard rebuild it in case there was some corruption there. Same problem. I also tried adding a couple of large dummy files in the source folder so the wizard would possibly change the location (disk1 or disk2) of the compressed .EXE. This didn't work either.
Any suggestions?
