Stonefield is written in VFP, but it's a separate product. I think you can call it from VFP. I would assume it's easier to use from VFP than CR and may be easier for the user (but the user will need to define a dictionary). As long as no very hard / complex reports required, the Stonefield is going to be fine. You can do tricky stuff with it as well, but then you can not be an ordinary user.
