I most certainly am not a progressiveLabels, labels... all labels do is push people apart. I'll bet you are progressive on some issues. For example, don't you have a passport? Don't you travel overseas? Doesn't that make you progressive compared to the majority of your countryfolk? So the slippage already has begun. Progressive today, Socialist tomorrow, and once you're a socialist you'll have no choice but to vote for Obama. So you'd better cut up your passport, trade in your frequent flyer miles and give up on all this fancy-pants progressive stuff.

"... They ne'er cared for us
yet: suffer us to famish, and their store-houses
crammed with grain; make edicts for usury, to
support usurers; repeal daily any wholesome act
established against the rich, and provide more
piercing statutes daily, to chain up and restrain
the poor. If the wars eat us not up, they will; and
there's all the love they bear us."
-- Shakespeare: Coriolanus, Act 1, scene 1
