>For pleasure reading, I have no interest in audio books or e-books. Give me a real book and I can read anywhere. FWIW, I don't really consider Kindle books to be e-books, as the term "e-book", to me, means reading it on a computer and the Kindle is obviously not a computer. The form-factor of a Kindle means that I can also read my books anywhere ... and I do. And because it uses "ink" instead of a backlit LCD screen like a computer does, there is absolutely no more eye-strain reading a book on a Kindle than there is reading a real book. There are so many advantages to having books on a Kindle. Here's the only real disadvantage I found ... now, when reading on a plane, the flight attendants no longer ignore that I'm still reading when they tell everyone to turn off their electronic equipment in preparation for take-off or landing. Most of them know what a Kindle is now. They didn't used to notice them, and so I used to just continue reading rather than turn it off ... <g>
