>I've looked at the scx2htm class that ships with vfp6 and also used Rick Strahl's product for producing DHTML web pages from VFP Forms. However, I decided I would like to be able to generate pure html forms from VFP forms. I wrote or started writing the program and it works fairly well with one minor exception - I get a bunch of less than signs at the top of the form. Does this sound familiar to anyone else? I pass the scx, the table that's bound to the form (keeping it simple with just one table) and the output file. I then copy the generated html into Frontpage98 so I can move the form fields around and dress it up. If anyone else would like to look at the code and see if you can figure out what's going on, let me know I'll email it to you.

I used to have some code in Web Connection (prior to the DHTML rendering)
that did this. It worked OK, but only if the forms had a fairly simple
almost columnar layout. It fell apart quickly. Too many people bitched
about the limitations, which are understandable. However, HTML is not
a good medium to render live forms unless you design forms with HTML
in mind in the first place <s>...

That said, I'm curious - what are you doing in your code...

FWIW, I've been digging through some Netscape documents recently and it looks that there may be hope that they get a usable object model soon so that the DHTML form rendering will work with IE and NS - it'll still require a fair amount of work though.
