>I recently installed Windows 98. The CD ROM works just fine and I can use it on various software packages for both audio and video but what doesn't seem to work is the CD Entertainment software that I should be able to use to listen to CD Roms like Marilyn Manson (Not). The software shows that the CD is playing but I have tried every control in Control Panel and can still not get out any audio. I tried downloading the latest drivers and did not find any.

Have you checked to make sure thst there's an audio cable going from the CD-ROM drive to your sound card, and that the volume for the CD is set properly in the mixer?
