We are using VFP tables and it was a SELECT INTO CURSOR statement that was intermittently causing a fatal error crash. I have changed the statement (now two SELECT statements) and this seems to have fixed the issue.

We were wondering if the process was trying to create/populate the cursor whilst it was still being dropped or something similar, and causing a fatal error, but this was not the case.
