If this situation would have happened once, I could have thought it's a temporary problem. When the same situation happened twice, it still may be a coincidence. When I have it happened the 7th or 8th time after exactly the same scenario (I gave a reference to a site and next thing I find the IP banned), it does seem like it has been done intentionally.
