>>Hi Edward -- I gather that unless IE4 or some other download is installed, there can be an error that's popped up in a number of threads, something like Fatal Exception 00000005. I've only been paying part attention, but it's been in several threads lately. I have IE4, and haven't seen the error on my test machine, but not everyone here has IE4 so I'm a little concerned...

From the other thread, looks like a viable solution is to include that dcom dll with setup.

I have a new problem, however with my beta6. I got an older (early vfp5) top-level app running this morning (vfp6 didn't open views automatically, for some reason). Toolbar still won't show, and though it runs without error in 6, it's so slow as to be useless. Click on a page that's instantaneous in 5, but in 6 wait a few seconds. However, I'll really have to wait until I get final release vfp6 to know for certain if there's some serious problem here...

And yet I have another app that's decidedly faster in 6 than 5, and has no problems at all. Go figure...it was developed with SP3, however...
