Hello Cetin,
no I don't use Prompt field, I set everything using the property sheet, RowSourceType = Fields, ControlSource = tablename.field1,field2 etc..., as I said it only happens occasionally and if I remove the combo and replace it, the problem goes away

P.S I was in Oulu Deniz ( pardon my spelling ) a couple of years ago, it must have been a nice place before they Angloruined it ( Fetiyeh was great ) but your money! I've never been a millionaire before .
