>>>That is really beneath you, Jake. If you think Obama is a dummy in Sarah Palin's class you are delusional.
>>>
>>>Mike, I don't think Obama is a dummy. He IS, however, a liar and an arguably someone who will resort to breaking the law in order to increase the size of the federal govt (see my previous post on taking $$$ recouped from TARP and using it for a 2nd stimulus)....and completely unqualified to be the leader of this country.

>>Let's just say we disagree. IMO he is the boldest leader we have had since Reagan. The results are not there yet but I attribute that to a minority party dedicated to opposing everything he tries to do.
>>
>>When a guy like Evan Bayh, who had a very safe seat in the Senate and is far from the most liberal Democrat, says he has had enough of Congress that should tell us all something. It's a mess. I don't care which side you are on, the two parties doing nothing but oppose each other is not in any of our best interests.

>It tells us his internal polling was much different than whats being reported. Things are going from bad to worse for the Dems and their Dear Leader looks more and more Deer-like. The ship is sinking, the rats are leaving and the captain is fiddling.

It's going to be a brutal midterm election, that's for sure. As they tend to be. I have not given up on Obama yet. I am furious at the Republicans. They behave as though it's more important to be the majority party than to do what's right for the country.
