I have an ATI All in Wonder vidio card. When I run the TV software for this card or when i run the MS Media Player to view MPEG's they both set the CD volume level to 0. I have to open the volume mixer and reset the CD sound level every time I play an audio CD. This did not happen in Win95 and I find it down right annoying. Polite software would reset any volume levels it modifies to their previous settings upon exit.
