That decision is generally not up to the individual developer, is it? Unless they're an independent, and often not even then if the client has other ideas. I know you are in the business of teaching people how to use the latest and greatest right away, but that is not the way many shops work.

Mike, you haven't been reading many of my posts then - I've said many times that businesses often choose the tool, now more than ever.

And actually, I don't use the "latest and greatest right away"....that's a subject for another day, but I don't.

And finally, the trend over the last 5 years is that (comparatively) more shops are migrating to the newest version more quickly than before.
