What version of SQL? Have you tried adding "MultipleActiveResultSets=True" to your connection string?

I heard a rumor that in the future, there will be a new setting called VirtualEntityNumerousUnconnectedSets

That way, we'll be able to say that one gender is from MARS, the other from VENUS. :)
