If you think the Bush appointees, especially the Roberts Court, have not had a huge role in undercutting individual rights, you have not been paying attention.

Mike, I acknowledge that the Bush administration did not have a stellar record of upholding individual rights. The Republican party needed (and needs) someone better than Bush.

But I WILL say that it has taken Obama a mere 14 months in office to trample rights (and try to violate Federal law) even worse. Fortunately, the American public is sending clear messages to him.
