Yes.. I was chuckling to myself about that.. Normally you dont see
a Service pack so soon after a MS Release. I should have put this
in Chatter since it doesnt have any VFP Specific Fixes in there
although the msvc runtimes we use.

>I don't see any VFP fixes in there. They must have found some serious problems to get the SP out so soon...5 weeks after release.

>>Microsoft Announces Service Pack for Visual Studio 6.0 Products
>>
>>REDMOND, Wash. - October 7, 1998 - Microsoft Corp. today announced that a Service Pack for Visual Studio 6.0 products will be available by the end of the month. The Service Pack addresses specific binary compatibility conflicts between run-time re-distributable files from prior versions of Visual Studio. Information explaining the bugs this Service Pack addresses is available on http://msdn.microsoft.com/vstudio/sp/.
>>
>>This update is an immediate response to inform our customers about known issues. As with all Service Packs, Microsoft recommends that developers install the current Service Pack prior to releasing their Visual Studio-developed applications so they can redistribute the latest run-time files.
