I was chatting with a friend last night, she was saying how when she was in Paris, the waiters kept plying her with different types of wine to taste, when what she really wanted was a beer.

We then ruminated on our inability to name a single French beer... not one. The French *must* have a beer industry, don't they? Maybe they just don't export anything...
