Anyone know of one that actually works?

I've been trying to get a multiselect dropdownlist from Infragistics (WebDropDown) to work for the last couple of weeks w/no luck. Server events absolutely do not fire. I can load the list, set selections, and have it display and react properly to the user, but when I postback and try to retrieve the selected items, all that is selected is what I programatically set when loading the form. No client selections are retained.

I've been dealing with Infragistics support and they keep telling me it should work. They just scratch their heads that no server side events fire (where I could grab selections one at a time if necessary).

the fact that I really need this to work in a Formview doesn't help. I can't get the thing to work even when it is the only control on a clean page (including scriptmanager and updatepanel).

I've looked at a couple freeware controls - none of which seem to work w/o a serious fight.

Somewhere this ought to be easy.

I bought the Infragistics controls because they are supposed to make things easier. So far, they are mostly a PITA that require tons of javascript to get to work.

I'm pi$$ed.
