I accept that you're done and am not posting this to continue the debate. Just wanted to say the discussion has intrigued me enough to do a little research when I have time, probably over the weekend. I get there are some studies or polls out there. Outfits like Gartner and IDC analyze business practices and trends all the time. That's what they do. A cursory Google just now didn't turn up too much, mostly about Silverlight adoption rates.

Personally I am not only going to go live with new platforms the day they are released from now on, I am going to go live with the RC! Get a jump on the competition. RCs are pretty solid, aren't they? Microsoft says they are. All they have left to do at that point is put a bow on it. lol
