I usually start my programs utilizing a launcher (with a shortcut) which basically scan the directory where it resides to find the most recent exe and then runs that exe using ShellExecute.
Now a client reported me that using TerminalServices on a (virtualized) Windows2008 server, no program is started by the launcher (only doubleclicking the desired exe can start the exe itself).
Are there security issues (and solutions) with this approach on Windows2008 and TerminalServices? Is ShellExecuted not allowed in such environment?
