Was just trying to answer your questions as to how I went about attempting the PacketSize change. I was asking if you have any ideas as to why my attempts to alter the packetSize are not working, as you seem to feel that it definitely can be changed. I am hoping I am missing something.
By the way, that SP is for SQL 2000; we're on SQL 2008.
