I bought nothing but AMD since back in the days, never had a problem with it. Back in December I bought a new computer for my wife, a Dell whatever whatever (very nice so far) which was the first Intel based computer since... well, I forgot! an Intel 486? Still my 4 or 5 other computers are all AMD and all working fine.
