>>I disagree. The camera was checking for heat being generated from INSIDE my house. No they did not fix my door (I was told I could file a civil suit and sue). As far as Colorado finally seeing the light, that's nice. I think that's like 14 states now? Soon I think California will just make it completely legal...which I think is a good idea - it would be nice to get the $ out of the hands of drug lords and killers.

>We will have to agree to disagree. I don't think drugs are good, unless they are medicine, and I don't buy into the "medical" marijuana. That is merely a ruse. One of my son's closest friends just died TODAY from a heroin overdose. Zach tried to get him to stop using for the past year, but he wouldn't. He has now. Illegal drugs have no redeeming value.

hmmm...well yes then we disagree. "Medical" marijuana is not a ruse. Having had a good friend went though chemotherapy a couple of years ago and seeing how it helped her and another person with M.S. that it helps I assure you that it DOES indeed have medical benefits and if you take a look at the medical community findings on this you will agree.
As far as heroin goes I know nothing about it and haven't ever met anyone that uses it. I will say that if you recall when prohibition in the 1920's was started it created a huge mess and ended up making the USA Mafia very powerful because ..duhhh..people still drank booze and duhh all the money ended up in the hands of thugs.
The "war on drugs" is one of the more costly and stupid things the government is doing right now. I saw a special on CNBC not too long ago that pointed out that pot is the #1 crop in California - and if it were completely killed off it would totally devastate a huge number of communities in the state. So guess what - duhh people are going to continue to buy, sell and smoke it - so why not just admit it like we did in the 20's and regulate and tax it. In case you haven't noticed more than 1/2 the people in CA are in favor of this - and soon other states will be the same way. If you ever end up with cancer, MS, or cataracts or any of the other ailments pot helps and figure out that nothing else really works I bet you'll be in line a the bong store like the millions of other people that the plant has helped.
