>I have been saying Canada looks unbeatable since their near death experience. After yesterday's semis I am not so sure. Canada squeaked by, winning 3-2 when a potentially tying goal from point blank range was saved by Luongo, while the U.S. absolutely destroyed Finland. Finland is a good team and it was 6-0 after one period. It ended 6-1.

>No predictions from me, other than a lingering suspicion that the Canadian team will not let us beat them again. Canada invented hockey, after all, and this is on their home soil. What I do know is I will be watching and hoping for a great game. This is the kind of anticipation before a World Cup soccer final, a Super Bowl, a World Series game 7. I can't wait!

Canada almost blew it as you said and thank goodness Bobby Lou was there to save the day. Finland is a good team except at yesterday's semi. Kipper had a meltdown and did a Brodeur.

Tomorrow's game is big and if Canada loses, it gonna affect the nation because, as you know, ice hockey is "the sport" here. I can't wait either.
