Canada squeaked by, winning 3-2 when a potentially tying goal from point blank range was saved by Luongo, while the U.S. absolutely destroyed Finland. Finland is a good team and it was 6-0 after one period. It ended 6-1.

>No predictions from me, other than a lingering suspicion that the Canadian team will not let us beat them again. Canada invented hockey, after all, and this is on their home soil. What I do know is I will be watching and hoping for a great game. This is the kind of anticipation before a World Cup soccer final, a Super Bowl, a World Series game 7. I can't wait!

I think, like a lot of teams, the Canadian team tends to forget what got them there when they get ahead. They start playing defense and forget about offense. Very bad habit.
