How do I send only the data value when I update an Oracle database using a remote view? Say the view field is c(10) and the data is 'ABCD' (may be from 2 to 10 characters) when I commit the change to Oracle it shows up in the Oracle data as 'ABCD '(size of the field) and a query for 'ABCD' will not find the record. I know you could use other ways to find the data but the Oracle data is used by people with 'minimal' understanding of SQL. Any suggestions?
