>>What a great message, Dale. I don't have an agenda one way or the other about marijuana legalization but it's good to hear a personal account.

>>I hope we can get something out of the way. The last time we talked you really gave me hell. I don't even remember what it was about but you were mad and I was mad and you let me have it. It has bothered me every time I have seen you here since. Life is too short. I do not seek enemies and am much happier being friends, even remote ones. Will you forgive me for whatever I said that set you off? We have different views of some things and I accept that. It just bothers me to be disliked to that extent.

>>PS -- It occurs to me that "peace" is about the worst thing to say to you, LOL. Oh, well. It was well meant.

Thanks, Dale. I really don't like feeling I have caused animosity. Thank you.

I have been doing well for a while now. I had a big slip a couple of weeks ago. Other than that things have been good this year. Working again helps.

There is a guy in my AA group who has chronic back pain. He works really hard on his recovery, struggling every day. Some seem to find it easier than others. John takes prescribed medicine for the back pain and worries all the time that he will become addicted to the painkillers. Some days you can literally see him having a hard time bending over. That is not AA's position. The position is take as prescribed. I know where he is coming from, though. At one meeting he said outright he was afraid he would be taking 10 a day. Which happens. Another woman in our group went to prison for writing fake prescriptions for Oxycontin.
