>>There is a guy in my AA group who has chronic back pain. He works really hard on his recovery, struggling every day. Some seem to find it easier than others. John takes prescribed medicine for the back pain and worries all the time that he will become addicted to the painkillers. Some days you can literally see him having a hard time bending over. That is not AA's position. The position is take as prescribed. I know where he is coming from, though. At one meeting he said outright he was afraid he would be taking 10 a day. Which happens. Another woman in our group went to prison for writing fake prescriptions for Oxycontin.

>It could be that a little MM on a daily basis could prevent this from happening.

No mention has been made yet on the use of MM for PTSD.
