it is network related, but making the shared components of the system (the exe, runtime libraries, and even the Foxuser dbf/fpt) read-only is the solution to the network problem. This occurs on some networks and not on others.

If making the files read-only doesn;t fix it then it is something else and I have no idea of what it is or how to fix it.
