>>Hi,

>>I have an admin password to a customer server (Server 2008). But when I try to run VFP application on the server (when remotely connecting to it) I encounter access issues. One manifestation of this is a message (repeated every time) that resource file needs to be updates or invalid. I believe it is due to the fact the the application does not have full access to the drive. When a user runs the application from client PC, no problem. The customer IT manager has experienced the same issue with his admin password; no full access to the server drive.

This issue has nothing to do with the setting of RESOURCE (I was just giving it as an example of the problem with accessing the drive). The issue has something to do with how Server 2008 restricts application running on the server from writing to the drive.
