There was a lot more of that talk before Jindal's disastrous speech at the Republican Convention Mike, it wasn't a great moment for Jindal, but most have agreed it was the delivery that was bad, not the content. Even his critics acknowledged that while it set him back some, it wouldn't be permanent. He sometimes comes off as "geeky" in a not-so-endearing way.
However, it's nothing compared to the gaffes Obama is making in his speeches lately (both delivery AND content). HIs statement a few weeks ago about "overwhelming scientific evidence" regarding global warming, especially in light of the recent Climate-gate debacles. was absolutely priceless.
