>What folder does the program reside in? I don't recall if Server 2008 has the same restrictions on C:\Program Files as does Vista and Win7, but perhaps you might've installed the program in such a restricted folder?

The program reside in a folder C:\MyApplicationName. The server is built just for my application so we don't know how other applications would work or not. The IT manager thinks that the issue is with the UAC (User Access Control). He changed it but it didn't resolve the issue. Now he thinks that maybe he needs to reboot the server to make the UAC change to be effective. He will do it tonight and tomorrow I will find out if this will solve the problem.
